Reiki is a Japanese form of energy therapy that facilitates the body’s natural healing abilities. The Reiki practitioner uses a technique called ‘laying on of hands’ creating a flow of ‘universal life force energy’ from the practitioner to the recipient. This energy is not the practitioner’s, but the life force energy in all of creation. Reiki is used to detect and alleviate problems of energy flow on the physical, emotional, and spiritual level and is known to relieve stress and pain, and improve the symptoms of various health conditions.
